Access the Community
Community Participation

We believe that all participants should be able to engage in daily living as independently as possible. Our Community Access Program is designed to allow you control over what you do and when you do it, with just the right level of support along the way.
PERSONAL FREEDOM
Your Life, Your Choices
Our support workers accompany participants to social events, appointments, shopping trips, and recreational activities, fostering connection with the community and enhancing quality of life. We emphasise building genuine relationships based on mutual respect, ensuring participants feel supported while maintaining their autonomy.
Community access isn’t just about getting out and about, it’s about developing the skills and confidence to engage meaningfully with the world. Our support workers help participants navigate public spaces, use public transport, handle money, and interact socially, building capacity for greater independence over time.
EXPLORING POSSIBILITIES
Discovering New Horizons
Everyone has different interests and passions, and our Community Participation service is tailored to help participants explore and pursue what matters to them. Whether it’s attending sporting events, visiting museums, participating in community groups, or simply enjoying a coffee at a local café, we support participants to live life to the fullest.
MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Supporting the Whole Person
Living with psychosocial disability can make everyday tasks challenging, but with the right support, a more independent and comfortable life is possible. Our specialty trained support workers are equipped to assist participants with mental health disabilities either in their homes or at our SDA accommodations.
